SUMMARY:WORLD MARITIME WEEK 2019 (WMW`19) MALAYSIA
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) World Maritime Day celebration\, the Malaysia Shipowners’ Association (MASA) is pleased to inform that this year’s celebration – World Maritime Week 2019 (WMW`19) Malaysia will be held from the 10th to 14thSeptember 2019\, providing industry players with 5 days of focused maritime events and activities. \nThe WMW’19 provides an opportunity for stakeholders across the Maritime Industry\, inclusive of individuals from the higher echelons of maritime authorities\, sectorial professionals\, academia\, industry leaders and experts to meet and network. It serves as an important platform that promotes collaboration and ideas\, as well as sharing of success stories in the noble effort to propel the maritime industry forward. \nSpearheaded by the Ministry of Transport (MOT)\, together with the Marine Department Malaysia (MARDEPT)\, this week-long gathering will facilitate conferences\, dialogues\, exhibitions and interactive engagement opportunities. \n \n  \n“Empowering Women in the Maritime Community” has been selected as the theme for 2019.
