There are two categories of MASA membership:

  • Ordinary Member
  • Associate Member

Ordinary Member

  1. Any Malaysian resident company which owns at least one (1) vessel registered in Malaysia under Part IIA of the Registry of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952; or
  2. The Malaysian resident holding company of the company referred to in item (i).
  3. Any Associate Member which satisfies the requirement set out above may apply in writing to the Honorary Secretary for Ordinary Membership.

Associate Member

  1. Any Malaysian resident company involved directly or indirectly with the shipping industry.

Please contact the MASA Secretariat Office at 03 – 8893 1941 / 1942 or email at general@masa.org.my. Application to become a member (either Ordinary or Associate) shall be made on prescribed forms. The application shall then be forwarded to Membership Committee for review and consideration.
